About the Mentor

Amir Hamza is a passionate and innovative Computer Science and Engineering graduate from International Standard University. He is currently serving at International Standard University as an Instructor in the Department of CSE and also acts as the Coordinator of the Robotics Community at ISU IT Club.

With expertise in robotics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, and strong technical skills in C, Java, SQL, and embedded systems, he is dedicated to solving real-world problems through creative engineering. Amir has served as a judge at prestigious national events such as the National Robotics Championship, the 16th DRMC National Science Carnival 2025 (organized by Dhaka Residential Model College), and INIT 5.0 (organized by Notre Dame Information Technology Club), evaluating categories including Line Following Robot, Robo Soccer, Mini Sumo, Drag Race, Drone Racing, and Project Displays. As the former Head of the IoT & Robotics Wing at ISU IT Club, he led numerous workshops and mentored students in building competitive robotics teams. He has also conducted hands-on training sessions, including a Drone Making Workshop at North South University and an Introduction to Robotics workshop at ISU. His notable projects include a Mars rover prototype, a fire-fighting robot, AI-based smart traffic and river-cleaning systems, and award-winning soccer robots.
